Simply Nutrition
It's undeniable that the health of people in the United States presently is not at a good level; obesity has risen significantly, as people aren't eat what is healthy and right for a 2,000 calorie daily diet.
Author Dr. Aimee Richmond has also noticed this unhealthy trend today and wants to educate readers on the world of nutrition through her new book, Simply Nutrition. With her doctorate in medicine, Dr. Aimee instructs on how to eat better through the presentation of nutrients needed for healthy bodies.
She carefully defines the essential vitamins (such as vitamin C and folic acid) and minerals (like calcium and potassium), as well as the harmful effects of white sugar and white flour on health. Included in the book are healthy recipes readers can use to get the nutrients they need from fruits, vegetables, proteins and other food groups on the road to eating nutritionally better.

Author Aimee Richmond
At the age of 94, Aimee Madeline Wriggins Richmond has had a
rich and full life. Born in Newark, New Jersey on February 22, 1923, times were much
different for women. Women were expected to take care of the homefront, and
raise babies; their labs, careers and projects were expected to revolve around
the home environment. Not for Aimee, she has led a vibrant life and was
destined to enrich others’ lives through her education, strong ethics of work, serving
and volunteering that has been recognized by many.
Aimee, being born to a Reverend and graduate of Yale University with a Masters Degree, and dedicated
mother (Madeline Esther Wriggins), Aimee excelled in Academics and volunteering
through her 94 years that has spanned decades. She continues to pass on to others
her knowledge through books, tapes and past television broadcasts, coupled with
volunteer efforts with the Red Cross Blood Bank (1951-1952), Planned Parenthood
(1952-1956)and the Nicaraguan Medical Mission (2005). With a B.S. in Dietetics
during the war years of 1940-44, she continued her education with Post-grad
work from Fordham University (summer 1944) and began her medical schooling in 1944-48
at M.D.Women’s Medical College of Pennsylvania (currently Drexil University College
of Medicine).
Her long career as a Medical doctor, hospital resident in surgery, she was on the forefront of instructing new medical
students and interns. Aimee Richmond has had many careers and activities that have spanned a lifetime, with many achievements and hours of
volunteer work with Christian organizations and clinics. She is an author of 5
published works on nutrition and theology. She has been a guest on TBN Network,
Praise the Lord Live TV Programs (1985, 1992 & 1997) and host of “An Ounce
